After it's release on 23rd February 1973, Cum On Feel The Noize went straight into the chart at Position No. 1 on 3rd March 1973, this was the first single to enter the British charts at the number 1 position since The Beatles with their single Get Back in July 1969.
As if that wasn't enough they then repeated that success when after it's release on 22nd June 1973, Skweeze Me, Pleeze Me went straight into the chart at Position No. 1 on 30th June 1973.
To finish the year off as they started it, they made it a 'Hat Trick' when Merry Xmas Everybody was released on 7th December 1973 and went straight into the chart at Position No. 1 on 15th December 1973. |
